RAD Springfield brings bike repair education and open tool access to Springfield’s downtown, community members and neighborhoods. RAD is open every Monday and Friday, 2-6 pm, and is located inside Make-It Springfield, 286 Bridge Street, in downtown Springfield.
RAD invites volunteer technicians of all ages to help with and learn bike repair, and the public can stop in to purchase refurbished bikes, drop off bikes for repair or donate bikes.

All services and bikes have suggested prices. We do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs with free and low-cost resources – we appreciate when customers offer to make donations if they can afford to do so.

Donations
We accept all bike donations and especially need adult bikes of all kinds, all year round.
We also accept cash donations which help us maintain free and low-cost services for those who need it.
All cash donations are processed through Make-It Springfield, a 501c3 nonprofit organization. All donations are tax deductible. We accept Venmo @make-it-springfield or visit makeitspringfield.org/give to donate online. Indicate “RAD Springfield” in the memo to be sure your donation supports the work we do in the bike shop.



Our grassroots team strives to equip and educate riders to navigate Springfield, MA on two wheels.
