In this post, please enjoy an interview I did with Ace after he participated in our Lego Car Challenge this past June!

Jamila: What was your inspiration for your car?

Ace: A car that goes fast and far.

Jamila: How did you make it through the challenges of making your car?

Ace: I started by doing one tire and it went far so I started increasing the numbers. Then I got four tires and it got a little faster. Then I added the pieces on the bottom and when it went down it didn’t break because those pieces were protecting it.

Jamila: Who is someone who has supported your creativity?

Ace: My dad. He kept finding different ways that I could push it around to make it move.
