Please allow me to encourage you creators and makers. Don’t allow this pandemic to put you into a creative rut. If you are worried that there is an absence of inspiration, try to remember that there are typically many paths to achieving your goals. So maybe for 2022 you only need to find one that works for you. And is there a connection between the creative work you are doing and the goals it is meant to achieve? Maybe, don’t lose sight of your why? Or maybe you don’t have a why? What would happen to you if you had one? What do you want to give? What do you want to give to yourself? We are certainly on a wild ride right now. It is not very easy. And still, you should have support for your creative adventures. It is a gift to society and really needed just about now for healing, and hope, and grief, or fun. Whatever you are trying to make or create, it doesn’t have to be perfect to get our attention at Make-It. We don’t even care about your gender or race or age or socioeconomic background. We just want to tell you “keep working” and please, think about living out your highest and most powerful creative potential. Figure out what is standing in your way, and deal with it. Everyone has at least one big thing that stands in their way. Just don’t lose sight of your creative work and personal goals.
