The Art of Protest
Creating and activating artistic activism! We are encouraging you to come champion your cause…protest Art has a visual voice!
This is our first annual Art of Protest event welcoming Artists, youth, organizers and every day people. Come champion your cause! We will supply everything needed to design banners, and and collage that remixes the words and visuals of an advertisment. Build sculpture out of our materials, or fashion, create a protest sign, or make projection art like video or photography. Come with your protest poetry and music if you want to, to define culture and moments in time. Remember the clenched fist, the peace sign, and he rainbow which represents acceptance.
We are encouraging you to come champion your cause. Protest Art has a visual voice.
FREE. Includes all supplies needed; complimentary food and refreshments. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
