Make-It Springfield has a unique opportunity for advisors who have experience working with, mentoring or advising young people to support teens in our Teen Fashion Club. You do not need to have experience in fashion or fashion design but you DO need experience with young people. We are looking for 6 adults over the age of 21 who we will train and support to be these advisors.
Here is some more information about your role: In addition to our group programming, each youth participant will work with an advisor who will support them through their creative process along the way. If you commit to being an advisor, you would be responsible for supporting 2 youth participants. Each participant would meet with you 4 times. This + coordinating would add up to a total of about 20 hours between July through September.
We would be guiding and supporting you in this role and offering a stipend of $800
