Create a Concertina Sketchbook & Capture Your Creative Ideas!
Make a “concertina” book for journaling or sketching – an easy project for collecting your ideas, drawings, collage, writing and more.
A concertina book, can be made from a single sheet of paper that is folded into zig zag sections like an accordion. Come for one or more sessions; create one or more sketchbooks; and spend this relaxing time in the company of others.
Learn to make this book in the first week and in the following sessions you will build up the pages with color, shape, words and more…or make more books! We will explore drawing, printing, collage, and writing. No experience is necessary; just a willingness to try something new. Come for one or more sessions; create one or more journals; spend this relaxing time in the company of others. Creative guidance and encouragement will be available as needed. Over time you will develop a journal or sketchbook filled with your ideas and creations.
Participants are welcome to stop by to work on their sketchbook during any of Make-It’s open hours.
Wednesdays, April 5, 12, 19 and 26
$5 per session. All materials and tools will be provided!
