Intro to Robotics
Combine hands-on circuit building with programming to eventually create your own self-driving robot that you can take home. This class will teach you how to write basic code for Arduinos so that you can control a wide variety of electronics. No prior experience is necessary.
Arduino is an easy-to-use micro-controller, a small computer that is used as the brain of the robot. It can be programmed to control the way buttons, motors, switches, lights, and other electronic parts work together.
About the instructor: This class will be taught by Reid McCoy, a high school student who has continued to love projects with Arduino since taking a similar class through Make-It several years ago.
For ages 12 with or without an adult.
Younger students are welcome with an adult.
No previous experience required.
